The nokia 3210 is one of the best mobile phones nokia have ever brought out into the shops. It has many features on the phone and is very small and sturdy to use. I bought the phone last year and it is still in one piece and hardly ever breaks.
The features on the nokia 3210 are:
PHONE BOOK
The phone book on the nokia 3210 has a maximum space of 100 numbers which can be stored on the phone. You can erase numbers and also edit them if your friends and family have changed their number. Te phone book also has the function in which you can assign tones to various friends or families so you know whos ringing you before you look at the screen. Also with the nokia 3210 you can send a maximum of 2 ring tones to you phone from the internet of from other phones.
MESSAGES
The message function on the nokia 3210 is very good and efficient. The messages that you send always get to the recipient on time and straight away. The messages can be a maximum of 150 characters long which is including spaces. On the message section you can also send picture messages of heats, people dancing and a birthday cake. You can change the message settings when ever you want and to what style you want. The message costs change between networks but the average charge is probably around 10 pence.
CALL REGISTER
In this section you can find out what missed calls you have, what received calls you have had and the dialled numbers that you have rung. All of these are the last ten you have dialled, missed or received. Also in the call register you can see how long you have actually been on you nokia 3210 for. This can also be divided into calls you have rung and been on the phone for and calls you have received and been on the phone for. Also in the call register you can see your pre paid credit and finally you can erase all of you recent call liosts or you can do it one by one.
SETTINGS
This is where you can change all of your personal settings and change them to what you want. This function consists of phone settings which is where you can write a welcome note which greets you when you turn on the phone instead of having the standard logo of the network when you switch it on. Also you can restore all of the factory settings which were put on there when it was made. Also on the phone settings you can change the language of the text which id displayed on the phone. . You can change the call settings which consists of changing speed dialling and automatic redial. You can change the security settings which is where you create a pin number to stop people from looking into your phone and using it if you have lost it or it has been stolen.
GAMES
Here quite obviously you can play games. The games for the nokia 3210 are Snake, Rotation anjd Memory. Snake is where you havwe to guide a little snake round the screen using 2 for up, 4 for left, 6 for right and 8 for down. In using these keys you have to eat little dots on the screen. You can change the level of the game so if the level is high the snake moves faster and if it is low the snake moves slower. Depending on the level the more points you will get for each dot consumed. Rotation is where you have to put the numbers in sequence using 2 for up, 4 for left, 6 for right and 8 for down. You also have to use 5 , or 3 to rotate the frame. Memory is like pairs because you have to choose blank cards, flip them over and match them up using 2 for up, 4 for left, 6 for right and 8 for down. Also you have to use 5 to flip the cards.
CALCULATOR
This is quite surprisingly the calculator where you can use the four function keys of a normal calculator to add up sums. The four function keys are +, -, *, /. On the nokia 3210 calculator you can add up decimals but the only disadvantage is that it has not got many functions on the calculator.
CLOCK
This is again surprisingly the clock. You can set the time in the 24 hr format or the 12 hr format.. If you have set it to 12hr format then it will have a dot by the time indicating that you have chosen the 12 hr format. You can set the alarm on the nokia 3210 to whatever time you want AM or PM. The alarm on the phone is very very very very very very very lout almost certainly wakes you up. Also in the clock settings you can change the date.
TONES
This is where you can choose what ring tone you want have on your phone. You can choose from 40 different ring tones. You can choose two of you own of the internet.
You can compose your own wring tone to what you want which is quite fun and good. You can choose the ringing volume of the tone and you can also choose the ringing alert. In this option you can choose the message alert tone aswell.
The phone is very durable and you can buy it in a range of colour cases. You can also buy new cases for it. The price of the nokia 3210 when it fist came out was £130 which is what I bought it for but now the price has dropped down to around £70.
Overall I think that this phone is not the best nokia out at the moment but it is very good. I give it 8/10 for its durability and its slimline design
