Hmm hmm ok lemme not put specs and features of Nokia 3230 as its been done many times in other reviews. I am just gonna write , what prompted me to by this phone.
From last one week , I have been researching on phones as my Nokia 6800’s LCD screen got broken and I had no choice but to get a new phone.
My budget was Rs 15000. Within in this budget , the phones which I could think of Moto Razr , Nokia 6630 , Sony 520i and Nokia 3230. In fact , I was too much inclined towards 6630 for its fastness and great features.
Mouthshut really helped me a lot in deciding on phone. Scanned through all the reviews on these phones.
Dropped idea of Motorola and Sony cuz somehow I liked Nokia phones.
Then choice was left between 6630 and 3230. Pricewise both the phones were almost equal ( 6630 was at Rs 14000 and 3230 at 13500).
Thanks to mouthshut , I was aware of positive and negatives of both the phones.
Nokia 6630 is awsome phone with fast processor and better camera capabilities but it was lacking FM and Infrared. And shape of 6630 didnt appeal me much.
Nokia 3230 is sleek and compact and weighs 110g ( little on higher side but acceptable with all the features it has).
Normally , Nokia dont give all the features in all the phone , but 3230 has all the features. You name it and 3230 has it.
I was aware of 2 negative features of 3230 ie Known software issues and poor battery performance but guess that was acceptable to me.
Now I have phone from last 1 day. I am happy with it performance. And as expected battery life is low ( charges it yday night and now again need to charge it at 11 pm).
No software issues faced so far.
Also , I noticed that when we play mp3 songs , audio output is bit low. But when u put same mp3 song as ringtone it works well.
Well thats all for now. Will keep on updating this as and when I get something to write abt my 3230. :)
