I know ... I know.... It has been a long time since you guys heard from me. I studying in Bangalore now, at Christ doing my MCA.
Enough of that....
Lets get down to the product at hand. The urge to change my trust old 3310 had started a few months back when the screen started giving up on me. So the frst thing I did when I came to Bangalore was to change my cell. I had to find something that met my budget constraints. I sold my 3310 for 3000 , paid the guy at the shop another 3000 and got my 3610.
Now, why 3610? The phone is light, granted (lighter than the 3310 anyway, which feels like a mammonth now). The back light is enough to lightup your room (You can invest your CFL money here :) . It comes with WAP (pretty much useless as most of the providers are moving to GPRS.
You have animated screen savers, a picture editor and they didnt throw out the composer. You have an option of saving on the phone memory or the SIM (150 Phone numbers). But no extra space for messages.
For the entertainment freaks, the phone suppors 6 games!! It is now easier to access your phone book and other options when making a call because of the addition of separate keys for connect and hangup.
Over all a cute phone and will be a welcome move for anyone moving from 3310. I have been using the phone for couple of monts now and no complaints as of yet. Recommended.
