I bought nokia 5130 couple of weeks back and its working great for me..earlier I had nokia 6300 but due to some s/w probs, I had to buy this one..
I would say that dis phone is value for money with almost all the features which were available to me in my nokia 6300..
The sound quality is gud so listening to music is a great experience in this phone....both thru loudspeaker and ear phones...since its an express music, all the controls are given at the sides of the phone which is quite convenient...:)
The talk time is much better here if I compare it wid nokia 6300..a fully charged battery lasts me for the whole day considering my job requires me to be extensively on phone..in terms of hrs, I wud say it can sustain 2.5 hrs of continuous talking...so sometimes, I can skip charging it for 1 day n do it every alternate day..
The keypad might be a prob..initially it took me some effort to type msgs as the keypad is a bit hard..Plus, there is no gap between the red button (used to end the call) and the key with number 3 (def) so while typing msgs, most of the times the red button got pressed as its right above the key 3 and my half written msg got saved in drafts which was really irritating!! so ppl wid broad fingers, keep this thing in mind!!
In call register, usually, details of last 5 calls gets registered wid the duration of call / time of call etc..but in dis phone, only last call gets registered which is something below expectation..i tried lots of times but cudnt find a way to see the details of last 5 calls..guys, if any of you finds tat out, plz let me know...The display is quite sharp...so overall I wud say that its a gud phone and value for money for almost all the features which u’ll get in phones upto the range of 10, 000 in nokia currently...
