Hi! guys .now I am talking about the first nokia’s touch screen phone so called "Tube" or "Iphone Killer".As I said it is first touch screen device of nokia and they have done a wonderful job making this device.it surely gives a competation to iphone.PROS.1.Touch screen.3.2" with 640x360 resolution.(really nice to watch movies and stuff).2.Size and shape is really nice.Dimensions111 x 51.7 x 15.5 mm, 83 ccWeight109 g.
Proximity sensor for auto turn-off screen during calls
Accelerometer sensor for auto-rotate(nice to see images & also play games in portrait mode).
3.It has internal memory of 81 MB but gets a micro SD card of 8 Gb.extendabale upto 16Gb.
4.Music play back upto 24 hrs(company says upto 34hrs) Talk time 8hs 45 min Standby 406hrs
5.camera of 3.2 Mega Pixel with Carl Zeiss and Dual Led Flash and Auto Focus.(Two cameras rear has 3.2 Mp and front has Vga camera).
6.Runs on s60v5 which is same as N97 and both are touch screen but N97 has 5 Mega pixel camera rest all same features(like Wifi, Radio, Maps, Gps.)
7.Input methods: i)Using finger because it has virtual keyboard(no hardware keyboard). ii)Using Stylus which is not there in iphone. iii)Plectrum for inputs.(mini qwerty)
8.It has multitasking(i.e More than one application can be opened) but in iphone only one application can be opened .(ex: listening to music you cant open contacts in iphone but in 5800 you can open).
CONS.1.Camera quality is good in daylight but worst in night and you see dots or blur when camera is turned in night .worst camera.nokia has to improve it.
2.No kinetic scrolling which is very nice in iphone.
3.Hangs some times(rare) for no reason.
It has more Pros and less cons as you can see and it has more advantages than iphone in terms of performance as well as cost.and one more thing 5800 has ovi stores where apps can be downloaded free as well paid so no worry about apple’s App store.
Nokia has launched X6 capacitive screen with 5Mp camera and rest all has same features which has a price tag of approx.Rs.36000(INR) where as 5800 is around 13000.so you decide .
