I bought a Nokia 6230 from Amazon in March 2005. Its been more than a year but still shows no signs of any wear and tear. I have dropped my phone on the road many many times. Really used it a lot. But this phone just like most other Nokia phones is real value for money. The features are amazing. It has blutooth and you can even play games with other bluetooth enabled phone users. The camera is just amazing and with the 32 MB MMC card, truly a mind blowing phone. The MMC card is upgradeable too. The picture quality is amazing. I say this coz when I look at the phone and compare it with a Moto Razr too I feel this a better phone. Thats my opinion.the dial pad is pretty easy toi use too. And like most Nokia phones the menu features are pretty simpla and straight forward. You dont have to think a lot while using this phone’s features. Which is how a phone is supposed to be. The MMC card can also accomodate as many as 10 songs in mp3 format and tonnes more in .avr and other formats. I really like setting songs as my ring tone.
The cons are that the handset is not dustproof. As in , dust easily makes its waty through to the screen and dial pad through the cover. This is something I noticed in the Nokia phones I had in India too.
They could have masde it a little lighter and slimmer, though.
Over all this is an amazing phone.
