Its been a month since Ive bought the Nokia 6265 Handset - from Reliance. I am editing my earlier review on the same product. Earlier I had mentioned that I am very happy with the handset and that the only problem is that it hangs occassionally. But I am rewriting my review, because one fine day the phone stopped working and refused to turn on. I took it to the service centre (for the 2nd time. They told me they will take 2 days to understand the problem and asked me to transfer my no. to another handset. I had an old Samsung Slim handset which my wife used earlier. They said that the no. cant be transferred to that bcoz Samsung Slim doesnt have a UIM Card slot. Being a CDMA Reliance phone, I couldnt use my no. on any other handset. I was told to buy a new handset from Reliance and transfer the no. to the new one. And after 2 days I was told that they will be sending the handset to another Nokia Service Centre and it will take 15 days. So I have gone ahead and bought a GSM Mobile and switched to Hutch network. Atleast Ill not face this problem again. Several mobile dealers told me that a lot of people are facing this problem in 6265. Not being in touch on mobile must be a simple thing for few, but for me, my business has really got affected. Now I am happy with my new GSM handset, where I can transfer the SIM Card to any handset I want on my own. So for those who are in for buying the 6265 - BEWARE.
