This was my first cell phone bought in 2003. You will not believe, I still have it in the best condition and 100% working. Why I loved this phone, because of its advanced feature in 2003 itself! Not only that but because of this "*Brick like strong build*". And thats why many *people also call this a "Strong Stone"*!
I would have dropped this phone for over 30 times, thrown the phone accidentally for over 5 time and the phone it still working without any problem. The external plastic only has very little cracks but is fine! When I bought this phone in 2003(brand new), it costed me Rs.14, 500. It looked little pricey, but the phone is worth every single penny.
(Now not available in the market as new, now used 2nd and 3rd hand 6600s are available for cost of Rs.2500).
*Pros** -
1) Very Strong phone just like a Stone. Caution - Dont Hit anyone else, he might be Injured! ha ha.:D
2) Best and advanced features for a phone released in 2003.
3) First ever phone with advanced feature. Also was the new pathway for current age phones.
4) Switchable MMC cards for storage.
5) best in Class LCD Screen
*Cons** -
Well actually with the age and time the phone was released, anyone should be satisfied with the feature it was offered. And though there were some Cons, that were negligible and I was Satisfied with the phone 100%! But here are some of those Negligible Cons -
1) No Radio(its previous model Nokia 6100 had Radio)!
2) Very Bulky(well a forgivable fact because that made it a strong phone)!
3) Pretty Pricey I felt(Doesn’t matter, as the features it had, its worth every penny)
4) VGA Camera(i felt the camera could atleast have been 1MP, but its manageable)
Overall, No word to describe about this phone.
To say Simply " ***IT WAS A PATHWAY PHONE FOR THE CURRENT MODERN ERA PHONES*** "!
This phone also gave me confidence in buying further new Nokia phones and I am a fan of Nokia too.
I have then owned Nokia 1100, Nokia 3310, N70, and Now own a Nokia Lumia 1020!
Verdict* - Nokia 6600 is a highly recommended phone.
