My first phone.Nokia 6610i. An assortment of collections? which should I pick? Confusion. Confusion. But when this was brought out of its box, I could not resist.
I?ve had it for
some time now, and I believe I can write a review on it. Yes, this is my own review. I have found out the information from other places, but remember ? I did not copy-paste it.
-~-
I have had it for a couple of weeks now and have not gotten a reason to complain. The phone is sleek and silver, with many features, as shown below. It looks very appealing, and is small. Small enough to carry it anywhere, not a big one which falls out of your pocket. My phone does not slide up to reveal the hidden keypad or open up. I like it better this way. There are quite a few pros and cons, as listed below.
Radio
The radio is excellent, just add your headphones and listen. The quality is excellent and it is easy to tune it. Just punch in the range and you get the sound. In the phone, click on Menu and punch in 0-6 for a shortcut.
Camera
The camera is excellent, but you need to be careful with it. Many other phones I have seen capture the image directly, but in this one you have to hold it in exactly the same position for five seconds after you click on Capture. The phone has three modes: Standard, Portrait and Night. You can add a frame, zoom in, or add clip art. It can also be set as an MMS background, and you have to choose from High quality, Normal or Low.
Tones
The phone does not contain any extra-good tones. The ones available are named Carnival 1, Celestine, Cicada, City Life, Daisies, Do-Mi-So, Espionage, Fantasie, Foxy, Hat Dance, Heavenly, Illusionist, Just Jazzy, Luminosity, Mountain, Partita, Robotique, Sleepyhead, Songette and Sparkles. These are stored in the Gallery section along with photos and graphics.
Games?
The only games I have found on the mobile are Chess Puzzle and Bounce. But you can, of course, download other games.

The phone has passive Matrix colour display.
The phone does support colours ? 4096 if they are within 128x128 pixels.
You can change the brightness.
The call settings are brilliant ? speed dials, automatic redialing and more.
Keys and navigation?
The four-way-scroll key, the keypad, the call answer and reject keys. You can choose the list menu or the grid menu. For shortcuts, go to menu and punch in the number of the application you want to go to.
The phone does not have video/sound recording, and the keypad is a bit hard to work. Also, the camera quality could be a little better. But that aside, this phone is brilliant.
