I bought Nokia 6670 few months back. Though, this is still a hot phone in India but I am not satisfied with this phone. The biggest problem – Sometime it get hang & need to restart my phone. Bloody Microsoft stuff :-)
Lets talk about its features - Good looking (take silver color only, blue is not so good) and grip is EKDUM solid. It won’t slip from yr hand and weight is also ok. I saw 7610 and dint like the keypad design. Though, 6670 keypad quality is not match to 7610 but its ok. You can do most operation from one hand. Yes, you need a little practice for that. Phone reception is good and makes it worth to buy when others are down (even Nokia’s other low price model). There is no difference between 7610 & 6670 apart from body design & few movie application (which you wont use normally).
Talk time is Reception is good and battery last 2 days with normal talk. Lights get off imdtly after 10-15 second inactivity.... sometime I get pissed off with this feature. When I need light for more time I have to keep pressing button. Can anyone tell me how to increase the light time ?
Screen is big & clear...sound quality is really good & mostly I use it as my MP3 player. Though supplied headphone is poor but I don’t have any other option :-( as this is data port and I cant put other headphone. GPRS works fine & I watch cricket scores on it when lights were off. You can put screensaver & gif as wallpaper and screen shows them properly. All other standard features excpet FM radio.
Video recording is poor & if you move yr hand while recording, voice get disturbed. Its good only for basic recording. I use this feature in my company annual day function and I wasted my time in shooting videos. Also, pics quality are ok as it 1 MP. Just Ok ...Night mode is pathetic and gives grains on pics...anyway dont expect good quality pics from any phone available in Nokia. Sony now came up with 2.0 MP, it must be good. Will buy soon :-)
6670 takes too much time to take snaps. Very very slow, and you cant see in the screen while taking snaps. It’s very disappointing from Nokia.
This phone is not good for game playing as keypad is cramp....i download many games in start but removed them later. Its good for corporate users as it looks classic and not funky. Alarm can be set for once, you can’t repeat it for daily. Phonebook is fast and easy navigation. SMS is easy to send with MMS facility.
This phone is good...for attending calls, listen MP3 songs, Good Planner....You can use it as a usb drive (the biggest advantage)
