One thing that really confuses me is Nokias recent habit of re-launching handsets with the same model numbers as some past ones. Take the examples of the 6600 Classic & 6600 slide, though they have nothing in common with the original 6600 Penguin-phone. Similarly, the 7210 was a "fashion phone" of the 2004 era with a very jumbled up keypad and uncomfortably funky looks. Thankfully, the 7210 Supernova has a "normal" keypad, though its still difficult to type on it. And no, god didnt answer your prayers about getting some decent color sense into the heads of Nokia designers.
That apart, I didnt have much of an issue with the 7210 Supernova as far as usage was concerned. Its amazingly slim and lightweight, and thats what I love about it. The display is amazingly crisp and sharp, with 320x240 pixels consolidated into a 2-inch display unit. Everything else is standard Nokia - these features have remained more-or-less the same throughout most of Nokias mid-range handsets. There is a 2mp snapper at the back that doesnt really impress, but does its work in the daytime.
Overall, it does a very great job of being a companion-phone - Something thats keeps ticking reliably inside your pocket while your magnificent new smartphone sits proudly on the desk.
