I personally like this phone for its sleek and classy design. Specially, the black and red model adds to the personality of the user.
Internally the 7610 runs on Nokia’s Series 60 platform, based around Symbian OS7. It feels familiar enough if you’ve used other recent Nokia phones, and the convention of softkeys and menu key is easy enough to settle into.
The phone is tri-band, supports GPRS, has Bluetooth, can be used to access SMTP, POP3 and IMAP4 e-mail, will read HTML, XHTML and WML, and has the usual voice dialling capability. It runs Java MIDP 2.0, opening up the possibility for downloading third party applications including games.
Being a Nokia mobile phone, the Nokia 7610 is also easy to use mobile phone and the 5-way navigation key makes it easier. The menu, however is different from the lower range mobile phones.
The Nokia 7610 mobile phone, provides a 65536(64k) color display with a TFT screen. The Nokia 7610, has a larger screen resolution of 176x208 pixels and when taking the photos, the larger screen comes in helpful. This was another factor considered when I went for this phone.
This phone has a 1 megapixel camera with a 4x digital zoom. The picture quality of the Nokia 7610 is quite good as compared to some other phones in its range. Also, the Nokia 7610, offers a 10 minute video recording as well.
The sound clarity is quite good. But, it would help if it was a bit more.
Overall, a nice phone to go for, if looks, style design matter to you !!!
