Just looking on the net to download a couple of ring tones for my Nokia 8210 (sad I know, but entertaining all the same).
I came across a review on your website saying that this phone is a fantastic piece of equipment ! Well I’ll have to disagree I’m afraid.
If what your after is a light, good looking and easily used piece of gear then this may be for you. However I have now owned 2 of these and have two colleagues who have owned 3 between them. We have all experienced the same problems:
The display blanks when any pressure is applied to the screen.
The top of the display blanks at will and comes back when it’s in a better mood.
Although this may sound minor it’s a real pain, and even more so when the thing costs a mint to buy !
Recommended solution:
Throw it at a wall and buy something else !
Problem:
I am English but work in Kosovo as a humanitarian de-mining supervisor, therefore I am grateful to have any phone as water and elec are rare enough !
End result:
Put up and shut up, cheers Nokia !
