As we all know, phones are to communicate , rather quality communication ... If u admit this and put this on the first priority then I wud say there is no mobile which matches Nokia 8310 ... Leave abt other brands, even Nokia doesn’t manufactured a phone like 8310 after this. Am not focusing on the advance features the phone got, am talking about the min. things which a phone should have and that too with high quality standards. Signal strength of 8310 is flawless. I have been using this phone since 5 yrs and never ever got a prob till date.
First 3 yrs I used it like anything, since couple of yrs am using it as a spare phone as I bought a color phone. But I never felt embrassed to carry 8310 even though its a mono phone. It fits perfectly in the palm and its great if Nokia relaunches this model with color LCD and with advance features. Battery life of 8310 is great, it lasts for 2 days for me and according to my usuage I feel its a good battery life. Even though it launched 5-6 yrs back, it got everything except Bluetooth, Camera .
If one dont need a bluetooth and camera in the phone, then nothing to beat 8310. Unfortunately the spares(original) r hardly to find as its a old model, even if u find them they r too expensive when compared to the present mobiles price. The back light is too great and I have never seen such a good vibrator in any phone of any class. If someone asks me for a suggestion, def’ly I wud advice them to buy 8310 if at all they cud find them in the market. Finally, Its a good phone with ample features.
