I bought an 8850 and the first thing that happened to it upon returning to the Philippines from the Middle-East, It lost signal.
So I brought it to a technician and he diagnosed a problem with the cobba, rh?, cpu, etc. I decided to wait for some other incidents with my friends before panicking, then my brother bought two for his children from Dubai. And alas, in a few months- no signal or signal was dropping.
Before all of my problems, I had it working good for about two months here in the Philippines. After getting it fixed, the LCD blacked out, only to find from a technician that the housing/casing was losing contact with the LCD (?). I do not recommend it for the reason that here in the Philippines, we have many people complaining about it. in fact, its resale value is so low, an old 3210 is more expensive.
