Nokia C1-02 is certainly a very attractive phone considering the average market price of Rs. 2, 150 for features like, Memory Card support, 3.5mm audio jack, Bluetooth, and other above ordinary features like Voice recorder, Conversation View for SMS, and beyond.
This phone aims at targeting population from Call Centers, BPOs, Banks and other professionals who cannot use Camera phones at their work place. While lack of camera would act as a discouraging factor for users who consider camera as a basic feature in todays world and would therefore need camera as a must-have, and at the same time lack of camera would also act as a selling point for the office-goer population mentioned above. The processor is slow (but not very slow), screen resolution is above average and can be customized, light-weight, and average body-build.
I in particular didnt find the music output very exciting. The audio rendering is above average but not outstanding. You may not get the kick out of listening music on this device as it fails to pick up sharp sounds and surround-sound effect even using a good quality over-the-ear headset.Overall - I would say its a decent phone, provided you dont expect it to be an i-pod replacement and need it for basic day-to-day use with a blend of features like memory card support, bluetooth, and media player.
