Nokia C6-01 has a terrible display problem.. It’s actually a manufacturing defect. Before buying this model, jus check with the Nokia Care center. They are getting complaints of every nokia C6-01 set to be replaced with a new display panel. They wont deny it. But they would say that the problem has been rectified.. Actually NOT...
The cost of this mobile is around 14K and you would end up paying 3-4K for the display panel alone.. My mobile is just 4 months old and I saw some grains on the display few days back. Then second day with more horizontal lines and on third day with no display at all.. I took it to the Chennai Nokia care and they said its a manufacturing defect. First they said, it covers under warranty and they will change the entire display panel..Then the technician called me and said, this defect doesn’t comes under warranty and the panel costs me 3K. Then he said there is also a prob with one of the chip and it costs around 1K.. I ended up paying 4k but still the problem is not resolved yet.. So, please check whether the prob is resolved before going for this model..

Same problem.. Display gone with new display panel that costs around 4k.. Nokia care has sent to HO for repair and final result.. Unable to repair the set and they assured me of refunding 4k.. I bought it for 14k and they are giving me the assurance of refunding 4k...
