Being a mobile novice I researched a bit and reviewed them. we wanted a mobile which had music and camera(handy in absence of digital one) and had connectivity options and price around Rs 7000 to Rs 8000. My options were limited according to my demands and price range.
Smart phone reviews were ignored by me as I thought it was useless investing on a mobile. I wanted a mobile which won’t be outdated with my future demands(3g connectivity and video conferencing). Love to surf but always have to log my pc to do it. So mobile internet was a handy option.
On searching the net E51 had all I was demanding and a Rs 3000 costlier then my budget. But with its features I found it worth for my hard earned money. Found music and camera quality in Rs10, 000 range mobile worthless. But everything was just perfect when I dreamt of owning E51. Connectivity, pdf, notepad, scheduler, calender, file browsing on mobile, Camera , recording sounds and also recording mobile conversations, Can form groups and have conversations, Downloading "fring" and using Airtel mobile office for connectivity made more connectivity options like orkut, yahoo messenger, google talk very very handy to use at the spur of the moment.
We bought a black candy bar E1 for Rs 11, 000 from Thane. The day we owned it we discovered the full potential of smart phones which are yet to be discovered and implemented in daily lives.
It came with 128 phone memory and 512MB free sd card . We will go for 4GB once we are in need of space. Downloading and installing is very very user freindly and since it is smart you don’t have to be smart to handle it.
Music quality is more than I demanded. Net surfing is much faster than my 5 yr old P4 pc. My computer misses me once I had E51.
Pdf reader is there but its of less use caz of small screen. But winzip becomes ver very hany while surfing and unzipping.Mobile pdf format tobe researched.
Browser is fast and limited options but got use to it. We can get back to max 20 pages which we browsed and zoom in and zoom out of pages is easy.

N73 has a big screen but limited colorrange. N73 also lacks Wlan and Wifi. E51 scans for existing Wlan’s and Wifi.
My E51 came with a USB cord and pc-suite to use E51 as a modem to surf on PC(very fast but depends on u’r affordable speeds by ISP’s in India though limited).At present Airtel mobile office provies GPRS EDGE in mumbai & pune(my range). Gives me dowbloadable speed of 20KBps.Use Symtorrent client to download huge files from thepiratebay.org. But torrent file"tgz" have to be downloaded on pc & then transfered to u’r E51 for using them on Symtorrent.
E51 came with a cd which had Cricket , Car race games for baccha party.Security of E51 is very robust. Mobile can be locked when sim is changed. It can be tracked down and send sms of new mobile no to 4 mobile numbers of your preference. It is useless for theives.
No front camera for video conferencing but who cares, you won’t see him simultaneously when you use the back camera.
Symbian 9.2 mobiles are much faster than window based mobiles like HTC. I just cannot let go my mobile and look a bit crazy these days as I am so engrossed in my E51. So will you guys who will own it. You feel proud to own it and its smartnes makes you smart.

If youare college going and don’t like this looks of E51 and are into gaming then go for N81(attractive twin of E51) but a few bucks more. And still want to flaunt it more and good quality camera and quality music and speakers then go for N82(Around Rs 1800 to 19000)- You won’t regret at all after owning any one of these three devices.
N82 would have made my present digital camera and mp3 player useless so it was out of question. Budget can be manipulated in absence of these dedicated gadgets and N82 is the clear winner.
Look for nearest "Mobile store" outlet as you will get guarenteed Rs 10, 000 scratch card. Get minimum guarenteed holiday package at 3 star hotel for 3 nihts and 4 days stay.
