I had huge expectations from Nokia E6-00. But it is a messy phone. Almost every second day the phone automatically restarts after getting stuck. It has become a such a pain that I fear writing mails and messages on the phone I have lost so much of my time in retyping the whole thing again.
Let me tell you one of the major problem in the OS.
Nokia has used Whattsapp messenger for advertising E6.but you it is not integrated well in the phone OS. If one try to make a call using whattsapp feature, the phone goes into a mode where no calls are possible and then you need to "Reset" the whole phone using factory settings which results re-configuring mail settings, home screens and what not.
Another problem is if homescreen widgets are full time accessibility to net.the phone conks off every 2 hours and restarts.its irritating.
When I tried to write a review on E6 on Nokia website, my review was rejected by Nokia saying it is against their policy.
To tell I have my phone even given to Nokia Care for repair. They re-installed the OS in the phone. But a bad OS is a messy OS is a frustrating OS. It is testing my patience.The phone totally freezes so often that one begins to pray before picking up a call or typing a message.
The problems did not solve. The phone is back to its faulty nature. I bought this phone for business use and accessing net. And it seems it can’t handle at all. The build quality is good and even some of the features of software is good. But when a phone starts getting restarting at its will, it looses my trust.
I seriously contemplating selling this set and moving on to something stable.
