Hah !!! a Manager Finally............. were the words which came out of my mouth the day I became a manager. Being managed till now with many biggies of the IT industry ... had bored me lately. So when the managerial role was rolled out to me, it came as a welcome surprise to me. I thought..."Finally Nobody to crib on my face".
My First day as a manager in my new office and what I see..... people carrying fundu phones like cummunicator, i-Mates and Kromes. Well, Well Well Neeraj, where did you park your car today was the next question. Till this time I was happy with my Nokia 7260 and my Hero Honda Glamour.. "Not ANYMORE.."
That Day I decided to pamper myself with a car and a Fundu Phone.. off I went to the nearby PVR SAHARA Mall.
To be very frank, we live in a Consumer World, with a range of choices to choose from like Multimedia Phone, WalkMann Phones, Business phones and the ever selling utility phones. Ya, I did go with a mindset..that I wont buy a phone other than Nokia. We have to agree that Nokia provides the best reliable phones in the market... nothing like it.
I very frankly told my requirements to the dealer and clearly mentioned that I want a phone where I could check my mails on the run, both POP3/IMAP4 or Microsoft Exchange, it should also have a Bluetooth and Infrared features with modest multimedia option. He suggested me the Nokia Business Phones.
Nokia has come up with a range of business phones for Business Ready People. The E51, E60, E61, E70 are few of its variants.
E61 has a typical Blackberry look except that it comes in Silver color rather than the Black color of the Airtel Blackberry. From far it looks very much like the Airtel Blackberry.

Now, with these range of features at a price of 19K is a good buy, isnt it....
I have been using it for the past 2 weeks now . It takes 1 week to settle down to its features (If you are not coming from a background of using business phones). I check my mails on the fly, a fan of its wonderful sound quality and most of all satisfied to own a Nokia.."The worlds most reliable phone"......
Have a wonderful day ahead !!!!!!
