I have been using Lumia 530 DS for over 15 months, and Ive found the no. of cons with this device to be a lot more than the no. of pros.
Pros
Build:The phone seems to be solid. Offers a good in-hand feel for the price.
Sound quality via the speaker: It just sounds gr8. The volume is pretty loud and clear.
UI: WP8 UI is absolutely lag free and offers a good user experience.
These are the only pros that I found with this device.
Cons
Camera: The rear camera performs fine outdoors, but indoors in artificial lighting, the camera shows its weaknesses. Nokia hasnt even given any led flash with the rear camera. Also the biggest dissapointment I have with this device is that it does not have a front facing camera.
Performance: Though it performs smooth in UI but while running some moderate apps or even playing moderately graphic intensive games, the phone lags a lot.
Ram: The phone comes with just 512MB of ram which is just not sufficient in 2015 smartphone. Due to that many apps are incompatible.
Some Bugs: In my usage Ive encountered quite a few bugs like apps close while using. Sometimes, phone just denies to call a number with both the sims even though network bars are full.
Storage: This shud not be an issue if u r casual user. This phone comes with just 4gb of ram, out of which abt 1.13 gb is user available. Though there is an option of installing apps directly to sd card, but some apps specifically, Whatsapp, Facebook Messenger etc. just deny to install on sd card. And they take up quite a lot of space, currently I have just 600MB left on my phone.
Lastly Apps: The no. of apps currently available on the Windows app store is just not sufficient to meet our requirements, at least my requirement. Even Google specific apps like Gmail, Youtube etc. dont have their official versions available, so u have to rely on third party apps which generally have bugs. Also the quality of many apps is not even comparable to Android or ios.
=Verdict= If u r in the market currently looking for a phone in this price range, Id say just stay away with Windows phone, specifically this Lumia 530. At this price you can get some much better offerings from android like Redmi 2 prime, Lenovo a6000 plus or Meizu M2.
