When one thinks of buying a smartphone, the windows OS is not the first that comes to mind. But regardless of that the Lumia phones have held on their own in the market dominated by Android.
The Lumia 630 is no different as it has better or equivalent hardware as compared to other phones in this segment.
The Windows OS itself is pretty refined and much smoother than Android.
Even with a 512 MB of RAM, this phone runs without a stutter and competes with 2 gb loaded phones.
The Snapdragon 400 processor used is same as Moto G and provides optimal performance.
The build quality is excellent and looks premium. The back has a rubbery textured matte finish.
The screen is decent, provides good contrast and is Gorilla glass 3.
The Windows 8.1 os itself is very intuitive and easy to use. The transitions are smooth and the feel of the touch is very nimble and snappy.
The only con being the lack of apps in the windows store. But if you’re not much into gaming, the basic apps are all available in the store.
The camera is decent enough, with new options in the software.
The battery is better than the rival android phones, will last a day on moderate use.
