No Value for money

I used to have Nokia 5300 earlier. I bought Nokia N73 Music Edition in January 2009. I was very happy with 3.2 MP Camera, MP3 player and other stuff.

But, very soon I started getting irritated by some functions which were missing. E.g. Autolock is not there in N73. So, I have to download 3rd party application for Autolock.

Camera performance is good but it takes a lot of time to start the camera. Once you open the slider, there is a small switch at the end of slider which gives the signal that slider is in open condition. Then only camera application gets started. But with frequent use of slider there are chances that after some time the camera application doesn’t get started.

Somehow, I manage to do that. But, I must say it’s the poor design I have seen in Nokia. Speaking about sound quality and signal reception, it is below average. Nokia is known for its very good sound & signal reception quality but I found it missing in Nokia N73.

Simultaneous running of many applications hangs up the phone. For example, while browsing if you are listening to the music or FM then you get a message “Memory Full. Close some applications”. If it requires so much phone memory to run applications simultaneously then manufacturers should design it that way.

Another problem is the joystick. After using it for some months the joystick gets stuck and it’s very irritating.

I have been using Nokia since last 10 years.....Nokia 3115, Nokia 1100, Nokia 3100, Nokia 5300 and now N73. But this is the worst model I have ever used.
