I’ve been a proud owner of the Much-hyped Nokia N-8 for the past 6 months. In this time, I become quite fond of its many features esp The Camera. The 12 MP Carl Zeiss cam with xenon flash is the highlight of the phone. The phone is really easy to use and is the first phone on Symbian^3 platform. A lil bulky but the phone feels very Solid. But thats where the Good things end.
Nokia N-8 is a highly unpredictable phone. You wouldn’t know when the phone might get hung or just turn off. There have been two instances when the phone Just shut off and wouldn’t turn on. On one instance, It had to be taken to the Nokia care store. Apparently, This is not an uncommon problem with the phone. Some applications can make your phone become unresponsive, Understood that it happens on Lower range models but on a 24K model, its simply unacceptable.
One of the key defects in the N-8 is its sealed battery. Which could have solved have the troubles users are now facing.
For a phone that promised everything.. It fails to deliver. Apart from the Camera .. It isn’t really Amazing Technology and Definitely falls very short of giving Value for Money.
