I recently buy nokia n8 frm priority shop of nokia in mohali.. and till now I m having a love it and hate it relationship with phone... but I first like to tell u that ... some us website like engadget nd gizmado or orther.. are telling that nokia phone ... OS sucks... just do not listen, to them.... they are guys who r happy with there motrola razor when nokia is shipping N70 ... and N73... nd nokia phone is capable to do things which these US people and phone did not dream to do that.. here the some of them ... tethring ....... my old nokia n70 is capable to do that in back of 2005 .... tell me when iphone is able to do that and htc phone is eye candy... nd I m nt intersted in buying chinese phone lol....
this is general introduction... here the things I like about nokia n8..
1-- build quality is simply awesome... nd not like galaxy s with feel like coply of iphone 3g ....
2- ovi music unlimited wao... u get the things free of cost which u have to pay for in ipone and in android device not option of buying music ..
3- free navigation is work like freaking hell wao... which u have to pay upto 80$ in iphone...
4- unlocked.... coz.. I m nt interested in airtel nor vodafone coz I change my number like hell..
5- pentaband work on allover the world...
6-- some say there is less application in ovi.. but u can even install applciation frm outside... and if u are in india... the all application which I use work in nokia... like sbi mobile freedom , ngpay of hdfc bank... jukebox..........
7-economical only I pay 22800 rs..... in mohali..
8 camera.. u simple canot compete with it...
9-- usb on the go work like charm.... and external keyboard also attached...
10 - we are using nokia product frm last 15 year.. even my first phone which is 1100 is nokia ... nd have no complaint .. about that.. so why I go to other company and spoil my brand loyality to the company whose product I m using frm last 15 year... or more..
and here the list the things which sucks .. about it..
1-- battery life sucks..... and nokia giving wrong information about battery life... ( agar phala bar chala gaya to samj lo ki battery jana bali..) nd it it not capalble to give music playback for 48 hours I check it nd it didnot last for more the 6 hour...
2- webbrowser sucks ...nokia is this is 2005 just tell me ...
3- there is also a problem related to reception ..... or may be there is problem in airtel network who know.. but u should check it...
