Vow!! incredible peice!!! just got a black one for Rs 19, 700 from mobile store. The moment I opened the pack..Phew!!! my heart rate increased, as I gasped , as I was going to own a Real BLACK N82. if u have utmost desire "Poori kayanath lag jati hai usay poora karney kay liye". My first reaction was to try the keypad. It was different but genuine & unique. While pressing keys the body makes a plastic quirky sound.It was heavy and big. Screen same as N73. So why I payed Rs.7500 more than N73. Caz it was a gift for my younger bro who needed a digital camera too. I tried out my first pic in the evening at 7.30pm & the flash just gave me another gasping moment. Checked the sound-usual-nothing special-but the 3.5mm jack & wire did not gave me trouble unwinding them and did not get entangled with my clothes.
Shot a video of an approaching train & played it-Phew!! another shock!! It really was dvd quality & recoring sound was crystal clear. Beats my dedicated samsung camera’s video quality. lets go to the camera part-You can control the flash when ever you require.Night mode is the best part. real colours. its software gives a glossy look like oil paint one, but for we average people it’s soothing to the eyes.It zooms automatically to get sharp pictures & it decides wht the object of focus should be & it matches with your object as well "Pretty intelligent". Got a close pic of Flowers, ants, dead mosquitoes & I was off showing how good photography I made(but it was my intelligent freind).N82 cannot stand on itself on table for taking pictures of your self by setting time(ofcourse you can).All features of dedicated camera it has. You can edit pictures as well.
Quick document reader and pdf and winzip. Name it-It has it.
Wht’s more it has nokia blogging so creating your own blog and synching your pics and videos is kewl but didn’t explore it.
Engage games demo is nice stuff did not try the full fledge N-gage games though.
i Boosted and showed off on TV the internet and presentation mode of my picture albums with music and video and gaming.esp- the FIFA soccer game just rocked our world. So much features jam packed in this black splendid suit. My freind is really a freind indeed. They say it has graphics accelerator for more smooth gaming experience but lacks dedicated sound processor like the N81. Ohh but "mera tho kaam chal jata hai". Internet experience on TV was a bit uncomfortable-but with a bluetooth keyboard in future, would give further thrill for internet and gaming on TV from a distance. Forgot to mention..it they say it has dual processor-maybe tht’s why while viewing albums its so smooth while transition and pics open up so easily without any time.
Guys wht more would i want. A bigger screen?.Well..N95 8gb was costly for me. N82 can accomodate 32 GB sd card. But it is yet to come in indian market. Even though N82 is Rs 19700(with tax) after owning it and using- beleive me it was worth it all.
wht’s more it has gps. used it in remote village of maharashtra and wht!!! it did show my position on the map. Found routes and a man gave commentary while guiding me to take left then right and so on.It gives you the shortest route.With sports tracker we can keep data of our mapping route and synch with many websites and share them. We can take pictures on route and with geo tagging on the internet anyone can actually see the pictures at that particular location you captured them, Isn’t it a kool idea!!! What’s more the sports tracker can show you your speed, number of steps taken, your altitude data(Vow!!) and the amount energy used in this activity. Choose between walking, running and cycling. When you enetr and upload these data on the internet and look back one month it will be a thrill to see the achievment made by you. Viewing statistics of your effort in graph form is really kewl.Nice tool to keep track of our routes.Good jogging and cycling buddy(wish both of us knew how to swim!!).
N82 comes with a barcode scanner.Now you can understand pricing better of products.
Watching movie on N82 -2.4 inch screen was good though. Tried it on TV- Smooth flow of video. Seeing pictures and video taken by me made me feel proud. Everywhere I go I wish I had N82 with me as I miss taking those videos and pics on the run which I always wanted and share it immediately on the net.Its worth taking N82 rather than 2 gadgets with their chargers and wires.
I use E51 but N82 will always be my darling freind. For now my brother will be the happy owner of N82 and he is not a gizmo lover- but N82 is easy to use and once he explore’s the features he will love it too.
If you are looking for a new mobile I highly recommend N82. Of course if you are of opposite sex and don’t Xenon flash N79 can be a good option as well with changing back cover and FM transmitter(wht is that ?)
