Visited bandras new pan asian eatery last week. charming black exteriors , sombre lighting, very welcoming interiors! Loved the set up at first glance ! then the truth unveiled itself over a meal.
We released that the centre centre of the restaurant remained unoccupied .Guest came in but refused to occupy those tables cause they were lounge tables. How can one eat on them? SO its a lounge too! the lighting suggested the same as well. But eating in low light dim lights for lunch may not be such a great idea!
the service personnel were very confused- they appeared on the table good 10-12 mins after we arrived. service was lack lustre , some stewards not knowledgable about their act or confused about what they were doing!
the food was a let down! the soups were promising - the laksha worth a mention and the dips on the table! good job > anything there after did not matter . The sushi failed to impress and the dim sum could be from a kiosk next door > the Thai curry had artificial color added to it besides being thick and creamy like a sauce . my opinion is stick to chinese when you order. the stir fry and fried rice did impress!
theres no pan asian about the food - just chinese shall do good !
in all worth a visit . price - nothing is cheap in mumbai anymore! 1000 bucks with a drink thrown in is what you shall pay!
