There are a few other softwares similar to Norton Utilities, but I’d say the Norton version is better than the rest. With Norton Utilities, u can find & fix computer problems, remove unwanted or junk files, find & eliminate viruses & improve ur computer’s performance.
Ofcourse, for keeping ur pc well protected & giving optimal performance, u need to keep updating the software, atleast once a week or 2, And also run full system checks every week or 2.
As for me, I like the 2000 version, coz in other versions before/after the 2000 version, there are a few features/functions removed.
For eg: in v.2000, u can remove junk registry key files, unused/unwanted files, corrupt files & orphan files, which is not possible in other versions.
It doesn’t matter if ur copy of Norton Utilities or any other software is an old version or a new/latest version, as long as u keep it/them UPDATED!
