Had gone to celebrate my birthday. Place looks and feels nice. Service was courteous throughout, but not attentive (even though there were few diners, you had to wave and call EVERY TIME for service). Starters (Stir fried chicken) and soup were good, though I wud give a skip to the nachos - straight out of a packet with a thin, lame dip. A litchi mocktail turned out too damn sweet. Music was excellent. Surprisingly, my wife and I were asked NOT to dance (all of us were couples). This was new, for all similar joints Ive been to encourage you to dance. Spoiled our party in some way...
Bigger dissappointment, however, was in store. The Italian main courses we ordered - two veg, two non-veg - turned out to be the worst Italian weve ever had. EVER! Now, Ive had Italian in a few places around the country, and make a mean penne in white sauce myself. But this was a shocker - the saffron vegrisotto was too sharp in the red sauce, the veg lasagna had a weird burnt smell and the chicken white sauce risotto looked and tasted like dahi-chawal (or doi-bhaat, if ure from the East) - runny and bland. Price-wise, no reason for kudos nor complaints - meal for two with one drink would be around Rs 700 (comparable to similar places).
Overall, I would not recommend this place (though I had a decent experience at the Mumbai outlet at Marine Drive).
