Onething i’ve learned after going to Just not paranthas is that television showsare a real Ripoff, I saw this show and recommendation and went to have lunch atJust not paranthas, I tried everything even all the dishes which were recommendedby the TV show coz I really wanted to have a good meal.
I was even hungry sothere was no chance for me not to like this place unless the food was reallybad. And that was the surprise after the over endorsed tv review JNP is no whereclose to the dish called parathas The chef and the owner are totally confusedon whats on the menu and are they making.
Lets start with Poket paratha mughlaistyle which apparently is the most expensive Poket parantha they have, A poketparantha is a parantha having filling of some meat, I know it sounds good but believe its tastes bad. I’vetried chicken Poket parantha , mughlai parantha both in Single & double butboth tasted like JNP’s chef is some new born baby whose really missed manyclasses at the Chefs university. The menu is impressive but every thing tastessame that’s not even remotely close to be called as Paranthas.
Whether itschur-chur parantha or same standard parantha. The prices at first look seems tobe attractive but after the meal, where u’ll definitely leave 40% of paranthaas it is on the plate u’ll feel cheated. But more then being scammed at the endof the meal u feel guilty for wasting your time at this confused and sillyplace. I would recommend if your really wanna have great paranthas and ure indelhi, try paranthe waali gali, at chandni chowk.
