I'm sorry, but I think u're wrong Pooja

Hi Pooja!

How are you? My name is Johanna and I´m married to an Iranian man, whom I love so much and never had any big problems with! Of course there´s some different cultures, but we must be openminded if we should have a chance to live in peace and harmony! - Right ..?

You wrote that Betty Mahmoody was going with her daughter (Mahtab Maryam Mahmoody) and husband (Dr. Sayyed Bozorg Mahmoody) to an Arab country! Iran isn´t an Arab country! It´s a Muslim country all right, but like Turkey it isn´t Arab! They don´t speak Arab, neither tought it in schools, exept if you´re in a special class for languages!

I´ve been in Iran twice (I came home about five weeks ago), and people down there are very kind to others, the country is beautiful, and it´s one of the best countries I´ve ever been in (also the only Muslim country)! I´ve been in around 20 countries, with many different people with different religions! I have only the best memories from Iran!

Have you ever seen/heard Dr. Mahmoody´s version of the story? Well, I have! I believe he´s a poor old man who just miss his daughter, whom was taken from him from her mother, because she wanted to make money on a story she made up!

You´re welcome to write me, if you have any further questions! ´Sorry my English! Have a nice day, and take care dear!

Regards, from Johanna.
