Such a great book. I bought it thinking it will be another feminist read but the book the book was beyond any expectations. I read the book in couple of sittings only. I forgot to eat and drinking also as I was so consumed by this book. This is a story of conviction, struggle, betrayal, will power and above all, LOVE it talks just not about human emotions but also about the living conditions of women in Iran. It tells about what being a Muslim women in a conservative Muslim country means. The book is so fast paced that it feels one is watching a move. Then I came to know that actually a move was made on this book. I really love this book. I remember when I fast read, I read the whole day and night without sleeping. It was so touching. I read for 2/3 times already and want to keep for a lifetime. This book is one of my all time favorite.
