Hey Mates,
Don’t use the version 5.3(Thats the latest).
It has got lots and lots of bugs which they technically call updates.
1)It’ll frequently display an error screen after installation.
2)Hangs up while playing videos.
3)The progress bar doesn’t diplay correctly while playing some kind of videos.
[FYI ...The progress bar is lengthened than all the previous versions.]
4)Automatically connects to the internet in media library and Dasboard (New feature) which cause the player to function slow. (I Tried but cannot disable that)
5)Sound quality is a bit reduced. (donno why they did this change, maybe to increase the optimum performance)
6)Startup is slow than previous versions.
7)Totally the 5.3 version doesn’t sound so good.
I agree the fact that Winamp is a good player, but only till 5.24.....
I’ve always rated 5 out of 5 for Winamp, But these new version are making crap out of winamp.
Im a good fan of Winamp, So I think I could analyse Winamp better.
Jus wait for them to release the next version.
