Oceans Connect [ You will DROWN in this Ocean]

I m working in Oceans Connect for Nearly 24 months in its Outbound Operations Avalan. Prior to that I used to work for Daisy and other Inbound process like Pheonix. So let me tell you all some thing about the organisation as per the Different Departments.


HR - You guys will never come across an HR Dept Like this in your professional life. They Really Redefine


the word HR [Human Rascals]:) They are a bunch of Highly unprofessional and Amateur Phsycos


there who do not understand their job functions and responsibilities. You’ll always find them Goofing around in the Company Cafeteria and not in their Cabins. One of the most Bizzaare Office Rules and regulations [ Only Limited to Oceans Connect ] are made here and they themselves do not follow it .


FINANCE - Now this Dept is filled with People who are unsupportive and do not understand the meaning of what are the functions of the finance dept in an organisation. Those Jack Assess hardly even understand English. Phew. I can explain those moron salary calculation much better . and these Idiots take the Inductions. You’ll face lots of issues with this dept. during your FNF procedure. Half of the time u try to contact them and they are out of the office. God knows who calculate their salaries?


IT - Apart from Mr. Mahesh Iyer [ VP It ] the entire IT Team is a Mockery. I fail to understand how they got recruited in the first instance. These guys cannot communicate at All. and fail to understand What we speak. This depts is little bit sorted though. They will not trouble u much. They get the technical issues sorted out with slow pace.


OPERATIONS - Headed by Mr Pankaj Singh [ Vitthhal Kanya ] & Percy [ Shakaal ] Shroff


Followed by Angela[ Good for nothing] Lacroix and Anshuman [ Dickhead] Sharma


Sheena was an Operations Manager here but she has recently quit. Good job Sheena, Better late than never. Was almost getting the feeling that you would retire from Oceans:)


There is no such thing as Operations and thats the fact. they all simply cannot hadle or run the Business as usuall. The best thing that I Learnt there is how to be unproffesional and be a master at PASS ON THE BUCK game. this dept has the highest count of Daily Absentieesm due to to the unproffesional behavior displayed by their TL and Managers towards Advisors.


The Clients like Phill Allington and the CEO and CFO Adarsh Sethia and Sundeep are not at all aware about the malpractices that are happening within this dept. Since I work for Outbound we all know how outbound works. Its highly Dynamic. and we always motivate the advisers to perform highly and give them On Spot Cash Incentives.


Now that’s just for the saying here guys. They really do not receive any cash Incentives. The money as usual is taken by Percy from the finance Depts and then he keeps some of the money for himself first then rest is given to the manager anshuman, which he misuses to Quench his thirst for Liquor as we all know that he comes drunk to Office and the HR dept knows about the same and I am highly surprised how is he still working in the organisation.


Now that he is getting married to his long time crush Jaya[ Advisor - Oceans Connect ] things should get normal I guess. Now here comes the Turs for Team Leaders. Siddharth Mahtani, Fauzaan Mithaa and Rahul Pawar. I guess amongst the three only Siddharth has the Knowledge abt the process the Rest two are just the Side kicks of Anshuman. half of the time they will now be found in the office and are seen in the area around Commerzone Flirting with other married Advisers.


Another Side kick RAHUL PAWAR. Don’t know why was he recruited in the first instance, as he lacks Team Leadership skills] I wonder how do these People Justify their Salaries. They not only Lack Process knowledge but also lack in leadership skills. They do not Motivate us at all . so how will we perform here. Anshuman Comes drunk to work everyday and no one says a word to him . Now this motivates me to Drink alchohol and come to office which will help me perform much better. There is no ref. Check done on Advisors and TLs before they are recruited as a Good example is myself as I am 10th Pass only and I m still working here.


The policies and management is totally EMPLOYEE-UNFRIENDLY. Its a company where at the end of every month you got to literally fight for your money [ Salary and incentives]. Most of the times the Advisors are marked unauthorised Leaves without letting them know. The transport dept is inefficient. If u r sick, doing a night shift and want to go home in the middle of the shift, God help u. U will either have to wait for your shift to end to get your cab OR u can walk almost a mile from your office and try to find an auto in the middle of the night. Dont expect any help from anyone. ITS A POLICY.


The work hours in OC is 9.5hrs a day instead of the normal 9 hrs common to the BPO industry. Maybe they think that their tagline is going to make the employees work an extra half hour in the company.


And dont ever think you are being paid for the extra half hour you work every day. Its is nothing but clear


exploitation of the employees and in ethically wrong.


Hope this is Enough to make the Freshers and the Exp Employees of Oceans AWARE. I am Equally frustrated in this organisation, but Cannot Quit at this stage as I am only 10th Pass-out.


So Will finish my studies and then Quit this organisation. Now I just have one line to say and Regret the same.
