It is an excellent product as it keeps mosquito away overnight and gives a pleasant sleep. As per the note given on the product, it is safe for the skin and can be applied to children also.
Dabur has missed one very important mark on its product, which usually all such consumer products would have as a warning or instruction
"Keep away from the reach of children"
It is though good for the skin of even children, it acts as a moisturizer too so good for ladies. But every product must have a clear instruction about its use.
Small children or babies usually have a tendency to put everything into mouth, it should definitely not reach to small child.
I have a small baby and my wife often applies to her since we have lot of mosquito at home. All out etc dont work at all. But I am always afraid, she has a habbit of putting all things in mouth. We always see in consumer products as an instruction if it is harmful ’keep away from children’ or ’keep away from the reach of children’ etc.
It is fine to spread in palm and apply slightly to all parts of the body as hands, legs, face to a baby but must be careful not to bring in contact of lips & tongue and the cream should not be not applied near eyes as it causes irritation and burning. Keep away from the reach of small children or babies as it may be harmful.
Mothers have a trust on the products they understand by reading the note, they have to be educated at times while they are to be careful about most things with the baby.
If I am been heard, Dabur should immediately implement this in all its products.
