Ok Jaanu, the newly released Shaad Ali direction movie is a modern love story. The cast is Aditya Roy Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor as Adi and Tara in the lead and Naseeruddin Shah and Leela Samsons with supporting roles as their landlords.
STORY: The story begins with Adi leaving the train and finding a seaminhly distressed Tara on the opposite platform shouting at a boy and threatning him to leave otherwise she will commit suicide. Adi tries to persuade her otherwise but by the time the train between the two platforms passes Tara dissappearz. Adi and Tara again meet at a friend’s wedding. They flirt with each other then exchange phone numbers. After talking a couple of times with each other they deckde tk go for a road trip on bike in the city. Tara leaves for a work trip to Ahemdabad. Adi decides to accompany her. He lands himself in front of Tara sjprising her. They then tour the city together. Tara realises its time for their train but just as they reach the platform the train leaves the platform. They decide to book a hotel and their they dance on the track huma huma and doze off. They return and decide on a live in relationship at Adi’s residence. They have fun together but one day charu aunty gets lost and while searching for her they realise their immense love for each other and decide to become the very fools they detest so much that is they decide to marry each other.
The characters have played their role well and the characters of Tara and Adi seem to be tailor made for Aditya and Shraddha. The track is good. And though the movie has the same tired plot there is a strange freshness in the movie probably due to the awsome chemistry between Aditya and Shraddha. The film will surely leave you with a sweet and warm feeling as you leave the theatre
