Throughout the movie, Adi(Aditya Roy Kapur) and Tara(Shraddha Kapoor) seem to be running after trains or buses in motion, barely getting in before it, s too late - a great metaphor for the love lives of people of todays generation. Compications arise when a couple(Aditya Roy Kapur, Shraddha kapoor) Decide to move in together, then part ways when their respective career opportunities come calling. The official remake of Mani Ratnams OK Kanmani tries for everything that a winsome romance should have: good-looking young coupe, perky dialogues, song-and-dance, picturesque locations. Ratnams pass at young love in Mumbai was a hit, but wasnt a great film even though Dulquer Salman and Nithya Menen played really well together. Shaad Alis copy Ok Jaanu, with a screenplay by Ratnam, is faithful but pale and predictable, and doesnt life off the screen.
