Olacabs.com is a cab service that allows customers to pay either in cash at the end of the trip or through money available in OlaMoney account.
On May 22014, there was a balance of Rs. 750 in my OlaMoney account. However to my surprise, access to my account was locked anytime between 28 May & 29 May 2014 and Rs. 750 not refunded. When the matter was taken up with OlaCabs customer support on 29 May 2014, they misguided and asked me to reset the password and asked for screenshots. This obviously would not work if the account was deactivated.
In reply to my 5th reminder(6th email), on 5th June 2014, Ola cabs informed of some terms and conditions and provided a link to them. To my surprise, OlaCabs had modified the terms and condition to suit itself. A cached version of the link from 2 June 2014 showed that terms and conditions under(V. User Accounts, Offers and Promotions) DID NOT EXIST.
That OlaCabs.com changed the terms and conditions after the complaint was made proves that the sole intension of OlaCabs.com is to clean up amounts in OlaMoney account.
A business that changes its terms and conditions after complaint is made cannot be trusted.
