Ola Cabs
my first experience it was really expensive .
ola Cabs are car service which provides pickup service for people using mobile application
and using GPS location of your phone. and drop you at your destination .for which you will be charged predefined amount according to distance by company i.e you can’t bargain with car driver.
few days before I was in Nagpur, i found that traffic was very much due to metro construction is going on the Nagpur Maine road, it was difficult to find auto and bas. and if any auto get then they will charge much more for small distance and dealing with local driver it is an headache task. and was to go quick & easy way.my destination was near about 5 to 6 KM.i was with my father.i headed lot about online Cab, which the easiest way of getting service at your location.
instantly I installed ola Application on my android phone.
rates was as followed
for ola mini car Rs.6 per km. I was happy to know that, it is so cheap and conveniently I will reach my distillation .
I thought my distance is 7 km.
then total might be 7km multiple of Rs.6 ie equal to 42
but I was charged Rs.132 fro 6.4 km, for 31 minute travelling time .
seriously I don’t understand how they calculate it. more than I have expected .
people beware of it, ola cab having many other hidden charges that will go beyond your pocket.
I will suggest you to take ola cab in emergence only or when you are in hurry .
