As all of us travel with roads the same reason I chose ola for my cab.
I was having 1 free ride because my friend invited me to ola.
I chose Ola for my whole family and we traveled from my home to Railway Station.
The distance is nearly 5 kms.No more than the 6kms.
I booked Ola and we reached at destination and the bill was more than 200rs and that was not possible.
The first 4kms are free(100rs)and if I consider 2 more km(2x10=20rs)and if we consider 60min travel time(I reached in 25min)then more 60rs, Total is still 180rs.
I pay what he asked because I was new and I din’t know about how this process is worked and how the charges are applied.
When I returned home then I checked my account and the result were shocking.
When I booking a Cab the driver was 2-3kms away from my home.He started meter there itself and the meter was running before I step into the cab.
The driver reached before the given time and I step in may be 5-7min later, that bill is also I paid.
I asked my friend about this, is this how it works?
He told me no, complain about that driver on Ola and I did the same.
Did Ola take to action on that driver or not I don’t know but I paid extra cash that means I have been overcharged.
I asked Ola about this but they didn’t refund my extra money which I had paid.
If we compare Ola rates with other cab provider we can see the rates are slightly higher than the others.
I would totally not recommend this Cab provider to anyone.
If you really want to travel with cab then now there are many other options available for you with good experience and at cheap rate.
