Well it was a day when I was about to take my Flight from Kolkata International Airport to Bangalore @ 1: 15pm which was my schedule departure time and I was already late for my check in and at time I just arrived sealdha railway stations finding no local Yellow taxi ready to go airport at shortest time instead they are charging me higher then the actual fair which was 450/- instead of 150-170 was actually fair then my friend suggested me to use Ola Cab app and book a cab for airport and I did so.it was so lightning service I can’t tell just after my booking I got call from cab driver asking me where I was standing in sealdha station and I made him aware about my location just with in 3min he arrived and without any further delay I ask my cab driver to take me to shortest possible way to the airport so he ask me the OTP and set his GPS in shortest possible way. Guys you won’t believe me he took just 15min from sealdha to Airport and that to at 135+ 27.5= 153Rs aprox
So it was great experience for me specially when I had no time to waste for my flight really if I had booked any local taxi that day surely I could have missed my flight.
Oh one more thing They also provided me Free WiFi facility in cab and speed so was also good and at the same time I was having real time tracking of my route which was highly advanced specially for those who are new in Kolkata because many time I myself faced this situation specially on those days when we don’t have GPS and Ola service here in town. where local taxi was only a medium of transportation and they take advantage to new people here in Kolkata taking the longest route so that they can add extra Km in there meter.
But now here In Ola u can track your own route and check whether your taking the long one or short one or circling in the same route.
