I recently took a ride with ola cabs. I was standing near a famous restaurant and booked a cab for home. Instead of coming to my pick up location the driver wanted me to come where he was standing and that place was quite far from where I was waiting. It was really late at night and I wanted to reach back home as soon as possible. After requesting him and explaining that the location is far, he somehow came after about 30 minutes whereas it could have taken him not more than 10 minutes to reach the location. Now he had to drop me home but he said he will drop me in the nearby lane and not at my doorstep and asked to walk all the way home because he was getting late for somewhere where he wanted to go. I would like to say that I don’t feel ola is safe for women especially at night because we book cab and pay more amount just so we could reach our home safe and hassle-free.
This was my first and last ride with ola and would never recommend this to any of my female friends or even male friends because no one likes walking 1-2 kms when he/she is paying so much for a cab.
