I am a regular customer of Ola cabs as I travel frequently. Ola is well known for its customer service but I dont think so. The cab drivers are literally not educated and hence they show attitude most of the time. They behave very rude.
Few weeks back, I boarded an ola cab to catch the airport shuttle bus from Banshankari, Bangalore. I booked the cab from Bilekahalli at 5.45 pm and I was suppposed to reach my destination by 6.20pm hardly. The cab driver came to some different locality for my pick up. When I asked him the reason he told that the application is like that. I ignored as I was in hurry and told him to start the trip. Although, I reached by 7 pm at my destination. I could have missed my bus.
On the way I told him to take the money by giving him Rs.100. He, then started telling that he dont have the change. The bill was around Rs.68/-. When I asked him to take it through Paytm, he refused to do so. It was so annoying that the drivers are doing business and they dont have change. Thanks to Mr. Avishek, one of my co-opassenger, he paid for me and I paid him through paytm. I was in hurry so I havent complained about him anywhere yet.
This is a bitter truth behind the story of Ola drivers but this is happening with numerous customers everyday in Ola and due to their hectic work line up they don have time to make a call to the customer care center of Ola and hence these drivers are taking benefit of this on a regular basis.
Even I have paid many times extra to avoid delay in my work. it causes inconvenience to the passengers.
One more point Id like to add. Ola application is really worst. Whenever I board a cab, automatically itll take some different location for pick up. I started to book by confirming the location manually on map.
So, its a humble request to the Ola management that kindly look into these issues to ensure better service to the customers.
