OLA has definitely made life so easy. One touch and the cab is at your doorstep at any time. I have been using OLA since a very long time.
Their fare of Indica taxis and autos are rightly rated. But am not so satisfied also at the same time. I have had experiences that was not quite great. One day I had to go to Bank Colony Bus stop and some how when searching on the App,
I was not getting option of that place. So I choose Hanumanth Nagar, which is just a min or two from that place. I had booked an auto, when on reaching Hanumanth nagar, the driver started shouting at me and told me that he will charge me extra money for that. On reaching, he again shouted at me and charged me Rs. 50 extra on the meter while the place was just 1-2 mins away.
I also hate the fact that during the peak time, they charges you 2.4 times extra. What use to book through them if we have to pay so much extra. The other issue with them is the cab driver having no change. Once the billing was Rs. 160 and the cab driver did not have change & I had to leave Rs. 40, I had no option as I had traveled at 5am in the morning and there was no place to get a change.
But having pointed out these, they do have great concept and have made life easy. Plus its so safe for women to travel at night as they have GPS tracking, just for this I will give them full 5 marks. I will continue using OLA and will recommend others too.
