Let me start by saying that Oil of Olay White Scented Skin Care Bar is probably the worst product I’ve tried in a long time!
First of all the bar cost me $1.59 (US) which is what I usually pay for 3 bars of my regular facial cleansing bars.
I ran it under the water and tried to get some kind of a lather, or something, but the bar was just like a rock. You could run it under water all day long and all it would do was get wet. No lather whatsoever. It didn’t even feel like any of the product came off onto my hands. But I figured it must have. So, I tried to wash my face with it. It felt as though I was just washing with water. My facial make-up was still on!
Instead of being able to wash my facial make-up off (like I usually do), it just rinsed over my face and left it all there! After I wash my face I usually take a washcloth with warm water and go over my face to make sure all the soap is rinsed off properly. With the Oil of Olay White Scented Skin Care Bar my washcloth was full of the make-up I supossedly just washed off.
The bar has a really nice fragrance and it is manufactured by (I thought) a reputable company, so I thought I’d give it a try. I guess I learned my lesson. Back to my old facial bar for me!
So the bottom line is, if you’re looking for a facial bar, to cleanse your face, pass up the Oil of Olay White Scented Skin Care Bar!
It does make a lovely paper weight!.
