Old Monk Rum happens to be the oldest and one of the most selling dark rums of all in India. One of my personal fav, this spirit happens to be the best of the dark rums available in this part of the world.
The reason for this one to be my fav is simply that this particular spirit is a Strict No when is comes to hang overs.
Those were the days when we used to bunk college and have some old monk pegs behind the college katta with a slender mix of Thumbs up for some guys. But still this spirit gives the best taste with 2 or 3 cubes of ice and water.
Also one of the best ’’chakna’’ with Old Monk has to be papad with pudine ki chatni and also with some soft and hot chicken or lamb.
The ease with which Old Monk gives the high spirit kick is just awesome and has to be one of the very distinct kicks among the entire brand of spirits. The smoothness of the brand is quite evident at the first taste of your peg.
I would 200% recommend this spirit to people who enjoy drinking slow and steady till they complete the bottle.
