I have been a regular customer for Olive over the past 4 years....from the very first time I entered the place I found it to be something unique in a city like Bombay.
Ambience:
Absolutely amazing! Though its been the same, more or less, for all these years, but never feels jaded. The white walls, clean tables, little knick-knacks on the wall...pebbled walkway, candles....feeels like heaven in this city!
Food:
Food is adequate normally but the Sunday brunch is awesome! Huge spread of great stuff (specially their parma ham rolls) and including unlimiyed liquor at around Rs 1100 per ead if I remember correctly. Not cheap by any standard, but worth it to just spend a few hours witha special friend.
Irritants:
The contsnat TV camera’s most nights there do intrude on one’s privacy.
All in all, awesome and unique. But go for the ambience and not for the food!
