I bought Olive VGC 800 on my 4th September 1 day before my B’Day. Was extremly excited to see an amazing looking phone with so many features & such good Sound output for ringing. My dreams shattered in 3 days. My phone restarted automatically while opening a message. Since then it has restarted itself 9 times. " H " & " V " keys not working upto the mark.
Tata Indicom CDMA network Reception is very poor & ppl complain that they are unable to hear me properly. I still have a Chinese Aqua phone on which network quality for CDMA at same place is much better. I took it to Service Centre. They kept it for 1 day & performed Restore Factory settings. So Guys be aware of buying this phone as its not good as far as Reception Quality is concerned.
Update after my 1st Review:
I realized that my troubles are not ending. I took it to Service Station in Gurgaon on 09/10/10. Service Station guys told me Mother Board is faulty & needs replacement. I said when phone is in 100 days replacement warranty then give me in written that its a Hardware fault so that I can get it replaced. They denied. I complained on Olve C.Care dept. Finally they agreed & today I got a new phone but within 1 hour, phone again rebooted of its own while opening a message.

Update on 27/01/11
Number "3, P" have hard time working. Phone is working ok & not rebooting that much but occassionaly hangs & only thing to do is take battery out. All of a sudden it shows no Network. So issues continue.
So Moral of the story :- This phone has too much issue of hanging. It might be a good phone as looks & features are concerned, but Phone Software is disgusting. Camera Quality even if 2 Megapixel is as good as VGA. My Nokia 2700 Classic phone has much better Camera Quality. May be it has Opera, E Buddy, Google, Face Book blah blah but whats the use when phone can hung up any time?????
