I had the basic model of microwave from LG and was planning to purchase a new microwave. There is no point in keeping two microwaves, so I started checking the exchange offers. None of them were giving a decent price for the old one. Then I decided to check online and came across this website on which you can sell and buy things.
Since I was trying something like that for the first time, I cautiously read the terms and conditions and even the Safety Tips given on the website. Registration was simple, had to verify my phone number, in case a buyer tried to get in touch. All done, posted the ad, uploaded the photographs of the microwave, gave a true account of the present condition of the item. A man contacted me stating that he saw the ad on OLX, He agreed on asked the price. We mutually decided on a public place, on the recommendation from others, a few of my friends accompanied to the place. He saw the microwave and paid in full cash. After which I gave him the microwave. It was rather simple and unlike taking the item to shops and getting offered pennies.
But my suggestion would be to be careful of the scammers. Carefully go through the safety tips, don’t go by yourself and keep the customer care number handy.
The website is good and posting ads and doing other things were simple. Highly recommended for selling or buying used things, provided precautions are taken.
