how LANGDA poisons OMI about KESU and DOLLY ...forms the story...with so many players ..like INDU.RAJJU, BHAISAAB, and many more..all of them apt to the entent of being real rather then reel..
NOW for the main players...OTHELLO must b written by the bard keeping AJAY DEVGAN in mind..is OMI SHUKLA as real as blood in our veins...KAREENA KAPOOR is DOLLY MISHRA innocent like a lamb on the alter.sans any make up she lives up to her potential..KESU FIRANGI played by VIVEK OBEROI is suitably subdued with his mannerisms and cud bring him a new variety of roles ...BHAISAAB played by NASEERUDIN SHAH..is not as menacing but u can never doubt his performance in any way.he gives in all he can..new find DEEPAK DOBRIYAL as RAJJU who was supposed to b married to dolly is a born actor .takes away all the claps .BIPASHA BASU gets FEIRY with BEEDI ..and SALTY with NAMAK... sadly she cannot be disguised as a more appropriate character apart from these dance numbers....NOW the best of them all...SAIF ALI KHAN.. as LANGDA TYAGI....is one of the finest acts by this nawab khan..take note all his movies will be known as pre omkara ..and post omkara phase of saif ali khan..he takes away all the accolades and claps and the hoot calls in the movie..with his menacing brown teeth..and grin..with full flow of expletives ..he is a guy straight out of todays UTTAR PRADESH..the bahubali...strong, fierce, loyal, , yet jealous to the extent of killing mercilessly ..and ably anti.to this character is INDU ..played by KONKANA SEN....with her chu-chu words bringing peels of laughter in otherwise serious movie.
